Scotty McCreery and Jason Crabb Announce Opry Performance of ‘Red Letter Blueprint’

Scotty McCreery to Release 'Red Letter Blueprint' With Jason Crabb

Scotty McCreery‘s “Red Letter Blueprint” collaboration with Jason Crabb is out. The two will get to perform the song together on Tuesday, February 11, from the Grand Ole Opry stage.

“Jason’s voice is just out of this world powerful,” McCreery says. “When he sings, you can feel the emotion in every note and the belief in every word. I’m a fan, and it’s an honor to have him sing this song with me.”

“I’m so excited to be joining my friend Scotty on such an incredible song as ‘Red Letter Blueprint,’” adds Crabb. “His talent is beyond compare, and he’s one of the greatest guys I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. It’s an honor to be singing alongside him, and I can’t wait to play this song live for everyone!”

When announcing the release of “Red Letter Blueprint,” McCreery revealed that he had already been a fan of Crabb and his music when the idea for a duet was first suggested to him.

“I’ve been a big fan of Jason Crabb,” McCreery said when at the time. “When my guitarist suggested we collab on ‘Red Letter Blueprint’ I knew it was going to turn out special. Having him on the song took it from a track I love, to a track I am so so proud of.”

“Red Letter Blueprint” was written by McCreery, Derek George, Brent Anderson, Jeremy Bussey and Monty Criswell. The song is from McCreery’s latest Rise & Fall album. Although a successful country artist, the father of one has also been open about his Christian beliefs.

“It’s a special one,” McCreery previously said of “Red Letter Blueprint.” “My faith has always been a huge part of who I am as a man, let alone as an artist. I always say my three are faith, family and friends. I think it’s a crazy world out there right now, and for me, I’ve seen the ups and the downs of all of it, so I think it’s easy to get lost out there.

“To me, when you get that way, there’s an easy road map,” he continued, “an easy blueprint, and it’s right there in the good book. That’s where the song came from.”

McCreery will spend part of 2025 opening for Kane Brown on Brown’s The High Road Tour. He will also headline his own UK Tour this year.  Find all of McCreery’s music and upcoming shows at ScottyMcCreery.com.
