McCreery announced his son’s arrival on October 25, one day after quietly becoming a family of three.
“Next to his mother, he is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen,” McCreery said. “We have been waiting and preparing all year, and now we are so excited to have our little man here with us. We have begun a grand new adventure that will continue for the rest of our lives.”
“Gabi was a total rock star during Avery’s birth. I could not be more proud of her,” he added. “She has already taken to motherhood like a champ. Part of my joy as his Dad is watching Gabi already crush it as his Mom.”
McCreery also posted new photos of his baby boy on social media.

The American Idol alum previously said he had no doubt that his wife of four years would excel in her role as a mother.
“Just how caring and thoughtful she is — she puts everybody’s needs in front of her own,” McCreery said (via KIKV radio station). “She’s just going to be the best mom.”
McCreery was also ready to take on the role of a father, with big plans for how he wanted to raise his son.
“It’s going to be the biggest blessing,” McCreery gushed. “I can’t wait to teach this kid things. Get him on the ball field, play him some music, teach him guitar. We’ve already got a little music stand for him to play with. So yeah, we’re pumped.”
Same Truck: The Deluxe Album will be out on November 18. The record includes his current single, “It Matters To Her,” as well as “Small Town Story,” which was just released.
McCreery’s next scheduled concert is on December 4 at the Grand Ole Opry. He will resume touring on December 9, in Roanoke, Virginia. Find music and tour dates at ScottyMcCreery.com.
