The 30-year-old released four country albums, before transitioning to a more pop sound with her fifth album, 1989. Folklore is her fourth studio album as a pop artist, although she returned a bit to the country sound with “Betty.” The name, and the other two names in the song, James and Inez, are the names of the children of her friends Ryan Reynolds, and his wife, Blake Lively.
