Tenille Arts‘ stunning video of her “Jealous of Myself” single featuring LeAnn Rimes is out! The two singers first released the song in April, with Arts thrilled to combine her talents with her musical hero.
“LeAnn Rimes, The Chicks, Shania Twain and Kelly Clarkson were my idols growing up,” Arts shares. “LeAnn in particular has been a huge part of my story in country music since I was very young. One of my most viewed videos on TikTok is of me singing ‘Blue’ when I was 11 years old, and then it transitions to a full circle moment of performing it on the Opry. I am so grateful and humbled by LeAnn’s willingness to collaborate with me on this very special song. I will remember and cherish this forever.”
For Rimes, it was an easy decision to join Arts on “Jealous of Myself,” the Canadian’s first release on the Dreamcatcher Artists’ record label.
“I love a great chorus. I know a great song when I hear it … And it stuck with me,” Rimes says on ACCESS, explaining why she wanted to sing on the track with Arts.
Rimes praised Arts on social media, when the “Jealous of Myself” video was released.
“I had so much fun creating with Tenille Arts and her team for this project,” Rimes writes. “The most beautiful song collaboration with the sweetest soul. Be sure to check it out and add it to your playlist.”
Arts also spoke out about the video on social media, and her excitement that they were able to film it together.

Rimes knew as soon as she heard “Jealous of Myself” that she wanted to be part of the thought-provoking song.
“As soon as Tenille invited me to join her on ‘Jealous of Myself,’ I had to say yes,” Rimes says of the song. “The song and Tenille’s vocals are stunning. It’s an honor to collaborate with any artist that is as talented as Tenille, but after she shared her journey in music with me and how much I have influenced her, it made this opportunity even more special.”
Arts didn’t write “Jealous of Myself,” which was instead written by Emily Weisband, Trevor Rosen and John Byron, but she knew as soon as she heard it that it was the perfect song for her to release.
“I really felt like it was a good time in my life to come out with it,” Arts previously told Everything Nash. “I’ve always focused on my vocals, and I felt this song really showed them off. And [producer] Nathan Chapman and I worked on this in the studio to create that. But the song ‘Jealous of ‘Myself’ is different for me, ’cause I actually didn’t write it, which normally I pretty much write everything that I put out. Emily Weisband actually posted this song on TikTok and she was like, ‘I write music’ for other people. Does anybody wanna sing this song?’ And I fell in love with it.
“I heard the end of that chorus and I was like, ‘Dang, I wish I wrote that,’” she added with a laugh. “So it’s a good one. And, thankfully, I got to sing it myself.”
