Thomas Rhett just announced a major tour date. The father of four will headline the iconic Fenway Park on July 19, as part of his 2025 Better in Boots Tour. Rhett will be joined at Fenway Park by Teddy Swims, Tucker Wetmore and The Castellows.
“Ever since I was 21 I have always dreamed of headlining a baseball stadium,” Rhett says. “I remember way early in my career playing shows in Boston. House of Blues, TD Garden, Gillette with Kenney Chesney, Fenway with Jason Aldean. You get the picture. Boston has always been sooo good to us. To be transparent.. we were planning on playing Fenway in 2020 and we all know how that panned out haha! So, since then my team and I have been working really hard to figure out when was the best time.
“Not gonna lie it’s kind of terrifying jumping from an arena or amphitheater to a baseball stadium, but YOLO!! ” he adds. “I have never been more excited about something in my career as much as I am about this.”

Rhett is joined by Swims on “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Woman,’ a song from Rhett’s latest About A Woman album.
“I’ve known him for about five years, and we were kind of like instant best buddies,” Rhett tells Billboard. “He’s one of the sweetest guys in the world, one of the most talented human beings I’ve ever met. I feel very honored to have Teddy on a song with me.”
All 14 songs on About A Woman are about Rhett’s relationship with his wife, Lauren Akins, whom he wed in 2012.
“The content is very familiar because it’s all coming from my memories with my wife, whether it was from younger years to high school to now to future thinking about my marriage and all those kinds of things,” Rhett tells American Songwriter. “I think my mission for this project was joy, smiling, and dancing. For the most part, it is mission accomplished.”
When creating About A Woman, the 34-year-old was already thinking about playing the songs in concert, long before his Better In Boots Tour was announced.
“I think on this record, I wanted it to be full of songs that I really wanted to play live because if you’ve been to our live show, it is very high energy,” Rhett tells Country Now. “We encourage screaming, jumping and dancing and all the things. I genuinely like spreading joy. It’s kind of just my main mission.”
Tickets for Rhett’s Fenway Park show will be available beginning on Friday, January 17, at 10:00 AM local time. See all of the dates on Rehtt’s Beter In Boots Tour below. Find all of his music and upcoming shows at ThomasRhett.com.
