Tiffany Woys Celebrates Real-Life Romance With ‘Loved By You’ [EXCLUSIVE]

For Tiffany Woys, love looks — and sounds — good on her. The California native’s current single, “Loved By You” which celebrates her relationship with her boyfriend of two years, Jeff, is quickly becoming one of her biggest singles so far. Currently sitting in the Top 30 on the Billboard Indicator chart, “Loved By You,” written by Emma Lee, Bobby Campbell, and Songland winner Madeline Merlo, could be the biggest song of Tiffany’s career, at least so far, and the most personal.

“I was going through a rough patch in music, a while ago now,” Tiffany recalled to Everything Nash. “I walked into Bobby’s house, because that’s where we record everything, and I was really bummed because of something that was going on. He goes, ‘Well, I have a song I really want to play you, but first I want to know, ‘How are you and Jeff?’ And I was like, ‘If anything’s going right in my life, it’s that guy.’ When I moved here, I had come off just a horrible, horrible breakup, and then meeting him was life-changing. I didn’t even get to the end of the first chorus, and I was crying in his studio.”

Not only does Tiffany sing about her boyfriend in “Loved By You,” but she also convinced him to star in the video with her, which was shot in Rosemary Beach, Florida.

“At first I wasn’t sure,” Tiffany admitted. “I’ve always liked the idea of not having a significant other in anything when it comes to work, just because I kind of see it as almost like getting a matching tattoo. What if we break up and then that video lives forever? But I knew that he had to be the one in it, because I didn’t want an actor playing out our love story. It wouldn’t make sense. He was actually very excited about the idea, but he was very nervous. He was nervous that he wasn’t going to do well.

“I think it took two or three takes in the very beginning to get him warmed up,” she continued. “He’s never done something like this. And luckily, my director,, Robert Chavers is basically family now. So it was so easy to be comfortable. You can do anything in front of him and nothing weirds him out. So that made Jeff more comfortable too.”

While a full project might be in her future, for now, Tiffany is going to continue to put out singles, and keep creating music that both she and her fans enjoy.

“I’m not doing albums yet,” Tiffany shared. “Since I’m still independent, I know how the listener is now. It’s such a single-driven market now, which is great, but it’s not great for the artists. I love being in the studio, so the more I get to do the better, but I just know how hard it is to keep someone’s attention for longer than two songs.”

Tiffany also planned on hitting the road in 2020, anxious to perform her music in front of her fans, but had to change those plans when the coronavirus pandemic hit. She also had to postpone a radio tour, which she was especially looking forward to, after her previous single, “Hostage,” also landed in the Top 40.

“I was supposed to go on a radio tour for this song, and I was supposed to be on the road,” Tiffany said. “For ‘Hostage,’ when I went on the road for two and a half months, I loved it. I was like, ‘Hey, when do I get to go out on the road again?’ And then all of a sudden we had the plans, and then everything shut down, so that was kind of a bummer. I’ve just been finding ways to still stay connected to radio, to be able to talk to them about music, because right now this is my outlet.

“I’m not really doing a lot of streaming with Spotify,” she added. “My journey’s a little bit more towards radio, because I’ve had just such good responses with radio, that that’s kind of the direction that I’ve taken things. It was hard not to go on the road. Really hard.”

Tiffany’s entire life could be much different than it is. After completing four years of college, studying Pre-Law, she was heading to law school when she realized she wanted to go in an entirely different direction.

“It could be different, but I know a lot of lawyers now, and they seem pretty miserable too,” Tiffany quipped. “At least I get to follow something that I love. Being a lawyer, it was fun because I could potentially argue for a living. And then I realized that I don’t want to be miserable every time I come home.”

Tiffany is working on a new song, which is slated to be released in early 2021. “Loved By You” is available to download or stream at TiffanyWoys.com.
