More holiday music is coming from Vince Gill and Amy Grant. The powerhouse couple will release When I Think of Christmas on September 13. The 11-track record includes holiday favorites by both Gill and Grant, plus two new songs with both the title track, and a new duet version of Grant’s “‘Til The Season Comes Round Again.'”

“There’s nothing in the world that I love more than watching my girl shine, and she might shine the brightest when she does Christmas music,” Gill boasts of his wife. “We have shared stages together for over 30 years and I’ve loved every note of it. I hope everyone enjoys this collection of songs, and hearing Amy shine.”

Grant has spent more than 40 years celebrating the holidays with her music, ever since A Christmas Album came out in 1983. She is the voice behind several of the most popular songs, which have become a soundtrack to Christmas celebrations for families all over the country.

“Christmas music is a portal to wonder and awe, to nostalgia and ‘remember when,’ to hope and how-we-wish-it-could-be,” says Grant. “And because we return to the same playlists year after year, those songs have become the backdrop for our collective memories of gathering, of family, of gift giving, of celebration and solitude.

“I’ve recorded a lot of Christmas music over the years, and I’m excited to add two new songs to this collection, especially the song Vince and I close our Christmas concerts with, ‘‘Til The Season Comes Round Again,” she continues. “I hope these new songs find a place on playlists, whether it’s during the holiday season or all year ‘round.”

Gill and Grant married in 2000. The two have faced several highs and lows over the past 24 years. including Grant overcoming her injuries she sustained in a bike accident in 2022, thanks in large part to Gill’s support.

“The biggest thing was in the two months after the wreck, it was really depressing,” Grant recalled to People. “Everything canceled, and I just said, ‘What if I’m never all the way back?’”

“And he said, ‘Things happen to people every day, and you just have to take one day at a time, and we’re here, and I love you,’” she continues. “And that just kind of made every day of the journey okay. And I do feel fantastic.”

Gill and Grant will once again return for their annual Christmas at the Ryman residency, a 12-show series that begins on November 29 and wraps up on December 21. Tickets and more information is available at Ryman.com.
