Vince Gill, Ray Stevens and Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives are among the 2022 class of inductees into the Musicians Hall of Fame. The artists will join Don McLean, producer Jim Guercio and engineer George Masenburg in being inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum on November 22.
The induction ceremony and concert, the first since 2019, follows the recent passing of Musicians Hall of Fame founder Joe Chambers.
“We’re proud to honor Joe’s legacy by celebrating this year’s inductees with a night of vibrant live music and special performances by legendary musicians,” says Musicians Hall of Fame’s Linda Chambers.
The induction ceremony will include a live concert as well, with performances by Rodney Crowell, Steve Miller, Wendy Moten and Mike Farris, with more performers expected to be announced soon. Phil Vassar will serve as the evening’s host.
Gill, Stevens and Stuart are also all members of the Country Music Hall of Fame. Gill was inducted in 2007, while Stevens was inducted in 2019, and Stuart was inducted in 2021. Stuart was inducted along with Dean Dillon and Hank Williams, Jr.
“I am so honored to share this night with Dean and Bocephus,” Stuart said when he was inducted. “What a deal. I was downtown one day after the announcement, and I saw the billboard, with all three of our pictures. I just started laughing. I said, ‘That is three of the chief knuckleheads of all time. I’m so proud of them … I am indeed honored to be inducted with the two of them.”
Other inductees into the Musicians Hall of Fame include Chet Atkins, Charlie Daniels, Barbara Mandrell, Garth Brooks and his studio musicians, The G-Men, and Steve Wariner, among others.
A limited number of tickets for the induction ceremony and live concert, which is set to begin at 7:00 PM, are available to the general public here. More information on the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum can be found by visiting their website.
