If you’re a fan of brunch — and who isn’t — and looking for a new spot for mimosas and more, White Limozeen is your answer. The eclectic restaurant, inspired by country music icon Dolly Parton and her song of the same name, is now offering brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
According to Eater Nashville, the brunch menu will offer items like a breakfast charcuterie spread featuring Morteau sausage, salami, country ham, a hard boiled egg, pickles, and baguette. Also included on the menu is caviar with soft scrambled eggs and creme fraiche, a hot chicken Landaise salad, and a red eye croque madame with smoked bologna and coffee mornay.
The brunch menu, which will be available from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM will also have something for those with a sweet tooth, including a bread pudding French toast with poached peach, pecan, salted maple caramel, and anglaise.
White Limozeen is already proving to be one of Nashville’s most popular places to wine and dine, even in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic, thanks in part to both its unique menu and decor.
“We wanted it to feel really approachable and really feasible for everyone to be there, everyone to have a good time, whether you’re drinking a can of Natty Light, or you’re ordering caviar,” Marc Rose, one of the developers told the Tennessean. “And if you order that caviar, we expect you to spill it on your shirt because you’re having such a good time.”
The developers found Dolly to be the perfect inspiration for the downtown eatery.
“Even though in the song that young lady reaches success, it doesn’t change who she is,” Marc explained. “You can be glamorous but still be the same you, and I think we tried to carry that through.”
White Limozeen will also offer unique cocktails for brunch, including mimosas in a variety of flavors, like grapefruit, guava, mango, passionfruit, pineapple, or raspberry cream, as well as a house bloody mary with CDC Chris Lewallen’s pickled Fresno chilis.
White Limozeen will also offer brunch on Monday, September 7, for Labor Day. The restaurant is located at the top of Graduate Nashville hotel. Reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made here.
